Olive Oil Hair Mask

Homemade Olive oil hair mask for all hair types.Olive oil is rich in vitamins A, B-1, B-2, C, D, E and K and in iron. It is a hair conditioning treatment that helps hair from the inside out. Olive oil also revive the shine of hair by protecting it from the oxidation of keratin protein and help repair damaged hair by nourishing the scalp and hair strands.

 

Simple Olive Oil Hair Mask

Warm 1/2 cup of olive oil in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Massage the oil into your hair from the roots to the ends. Apply more oil to the ends if they're very dry. Cover your hair with a shower cap or towel, then let the oil set for 30 to 45 minutes. Rinse with warm water and shampoo your hair. This olive oil hair mask helps moisturize your hair and restores its lustrous shine.

 

 

Honey and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Mix a 1/2 cup of olive oil with 1/4 cup honey. Pierce 3 capsules of Vitamin E and squeeze the contents into the mixture. Mix it well. Use a basting brush to smooth the mask over damp hair from roots to tips. Concentrate on the ends, which tend to be the most dry and damaged. Cover hair with a shower cap or a plastic grocery bag.  Wait for 40-60 minutes to allow the olive oil and honey mask to fully permeate your hair. Rinse with warm water. Use a shampoo to wash your hair and follow with conditioner.

 

Coconut Oil and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Mix 2 parts coconut oil with 1 part extra virgin olive oil. If you have short hair, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, but adjust the quantities as necessary according to your hair's length. Apply coconut and olive oil mask to your hair. Massage the oil through your hair. Cover with a shower cap or grocery bag. Wait for 40-60 minutes. Rinse with warm water and shampoo your hair.

 

Avocado, Honey, and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Scoop the avocado out of the skin with a spoon. Using a fork, mash the avocado into a paste in a medium bowl. Stir in 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and honey. Spread mask onto damp hair. Focus on the ends, where damage is usually greatest. If you have oily roots, avoid putting the mask on them. Wrap your hair with a shower cap, or a grocery bag. This olive oil mask does best if heated. Use a hairdryer on its low setting for 15-20 minutes, or find a sunny, warm spot and sit out for 30-45 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with a shampoo and conditioner.
