Pumpkin Face Mask

Homemade pumpkin face mask is great for acne prone and aging skins. The molecular structure of pumpkin is small and can penetrate deeper into the skin when used topically.


There are a few different recipes for creating a pumpkin face masks.

 

Rejuvenating Pumpkin Face Mask

What you'll need:

2 tablespoons of pumpkin
1/2 of banana
2 tablespoons of yogurt (plain)
1-2 teaspoons of honey
1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor. Pulse a few times to combine. Apply on face and wash off after 20 minutes. Your skin will feel soft, clean and look brighter with the added bonus of helping with acne and anti-aging at the same time.

 

Pumpkin Face Mask for Exfoliating

Mix a few tablespoons of cooked and mashed (or canned) pumpkin with 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal. Apply on face and wash off after 20 minutes. This mask is good for renewing and rejuvenating.

 

Honey Pumpkin Face Mask

Mix a few tablespoons of pureed pumpkin with 1 whipped egg white, 1 tablespoon plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey. Apply to entire face, avoiding the eye area, and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing. You would give your skin a good dose of vitamins and get soft and smooth skin.


Don't worry, pumpkin face mask won't dye your skin!
