There are a few different recipes for creating a honey mask for acne.
Raw Honey Mask for Acne Take a small amount of pure raw honey. Apply this on your face by using your finger tips or by using cotton pad. Let it be on for about 30 minutes and wash it off with warm water first and then follow it with cold water which helps to close your skin pores to resolve the problem. Repeat the same process regularly to get clear skin that prevents acne. Tea Tree Oil & Honey Mask for Acne Mix 1 tablespoon of raw honey with 2 drops of tea tree essential oil. Apply on the whole face or just the affected parts. Wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. Use this method 2 times a week for better and faster results. Tea tree essential oil has strong antimicrobial, antiseptic and fungicidal properties. Therefore, when combined with honey mask, it helps to efficiently eradicate the infections in acne-affected areas.
Turmeric & Honey Mask for Acne Take a tablespoon of honey and mix it with 1/8 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Apply this mask for acne over your face and other acne affected part of the skin and leave it on for 20–25 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water and then pat dry with towel. Apply moisturizer of your skin type to make it smooth and clean and repeat the process regularly to get relief from the acne. Turmeric acts as anti-inflammatory and disinfectant which helps to kill the bacteria and soothe your pain and redness.
Honey and Cinnamon Acne Mask Cinnamon is natural antiseptic. It really works wonders for getting rid of pimples. Mix 2 tablespoons of organic honey with some cinnamon powder (enough to make a paste), dab it onto the zit, and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
